Help & Support for Pharmacorpus

If you don’t find what you’re looking for below, send us a message and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible – usually within a few hours.

Quick guide

How to search?

We recommend go ahead and search for the term, phrase or whole sentence that you need to translate without thinking too much about search strategies. In most cases that will return useful search results, and when it does not you can try modifying by shortening or extending to your search criterium to widen or narrow your search.

Can I search for more than one term at a time?

Yes! You can search for a term, phrase or for a full sentence. Single-term searches typically work well, but occasionally returns many results. If this is your case, consider searching for a 2-4 word collocation (e.g. be aware of instead of simply aware).

FAQ

What am I searching?

Our database holds nearly all recently published SPC, PIL and labelling texts from the European Medicines Agency (EMA). For most language combinations that means more than 300,000 translated and EMA-validated aligned sentence pairs.

How often do you update?

We update all language pairs every 3, 6 or 12 months depending on the popularity of the language pair.

Why are some results mal-aligned?

In order to update regularly and handle hundreds of thousands sentente pairs in many language combinations we need the process to be partly automated. We do have various quality control measures, but even so some sentences are aligned with others that are not their translations. Unfortunately, we are unable to solve this issue fully.

Can I provide feedback?

We are continously developing pharmacorpus and would be grateful for any comment or suggestion that you may have.

If you discover a bug or have a suggestion for new functionality that we should be considering, feel free to contact Project Linguist Peter Steffensen (peter@pharmacorpus.com)
